Even though the sound each animal makes doesn\u2019t change depending on the country it\u2019s in, surprisingly, the sound each animal makes is written differently in each language!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Do animals sound different in other languages?\" width=\"910\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_14hdHoFyjw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In England, we say that the sound a dog makes is \u2018Woof\u2019 or \u2018Ruff\u2019 and the sound a cat makes as \u2018Miaow\u2019 or \u2018Purr\u2019 both of which are derived from impersonating their sound using onomatopoeia.
