The film documents the life of a 13 year old boy, Antoine, and examines his relations with his family.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Here, Coco (Y13) imagines a letter his mother could have written to Antoine at the end of the film, when he is sent to a detention centre.<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whs-blogs.co.uk\/linguistica\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/400-coups.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-82\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mon cher Antoine,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&#8217;esp\u00e8re que tu\nprofites de ton temps au centre psychologique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je t\u2019\u00e9cris cette\nlettre d\u2019explication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand j&#8217;ai\nd\u00e9couvert que j&#8217;\u00e9tais enceinte, j&#8217;\u00e9tais d\u00e9vast\u00e9e. Je me suis dit, comment une\npetite erreur pourrait avoir un impact sur toute ma vie ? Avoir un enfant\nm&#8217;emp\u00eacherait de travailler \u00e0 plein temps et m&#8217;emp\u00eacherait d\u2019\u00eatre sur mon meilleur jour. Cela\nsignifierait en outre que je devrais m&#8217;en occuper. Ainsi je me suis convaincue\nd&#8217;avoir un avortement. Cependant, ta grand-m\u00e8re m&#8217;a convaincue du contraire et\nj&#8217;ai finalement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de te garder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&#8217;est quelque\nchose que je regrette \u00e0 ce jour. Tu dois comprendre qu&#8217;\u00eatre une femme en ce\nmoment n&#8217;est pas facile. On doit constamment s\u2019occuper des conjoints et faire\nles t\u00e2ches m\u00e9nag\u00e8res. Avoir un enfant ne rend rien de moins facile. Le fait que je doive rentrer chez moi apr\u00e8s le travail et\nte voir, toi qui n&#8217;a pas ramass\u00e9 la farine comme je te l&#8217;avais dit, me met de\nmauvaise humeur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, les\nblagues de ton p\u00e8re \u00e0 mes d\u00e9pens m&#8217;\u00e9nervent davantage. Je travaille tellement\ndur et aucun de vous ne peut me comprendre. Alors,\nquand tu as d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de voler la machine \u00e0 \u00e9crire, j&#8217;ai craqu\u00e9. Je ne pouvais\nplus \u00eatre pr\u00e8s de toi, alors j&#8217;ai pens\u00e9 qu&#8217;il serait pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de t\u2019envoyer\ndans un centre psychologique. Je pensais que ce serait le meilleur pour moi et\npour toi aussi. Je serais capable de me concentrer sur mon travail tout en\napprenant toute seule \u00e0 me comporter et \u00e0 agir de mani\u00e8re responsable.
