How To… Type with Accents on a Microsoft Laptop!
Lara (Y13) makes a useful cheat sheet on typing with accents.
The No. 1 problem with using foreign languages on OneNote/on screen is the difficulty to type accents however if you use this cheat sheet, you will never face this difficulty again!
There are multiple ways to get accents into your work, although in my opinion, the best way to consistently and quickly type with accents is to use the keyboard shortcuts.
Unfortunately, these shortcuts are not always the same on each app, but once you remember the differences/hacks, typing is much easier.
