Leaning Tower of Pisa 

La Torre Pendente di Pisa è la terza struttura del Duomo della città. La Torre di Pisa fu costruita per essere utilizzata come campanile. L’edificio fu costruito il 9 agosto 1173 da Bonanno Pisano, ma gli studiosi ritengono che potrebbe essere stato progettato da Gherardo di Gherardo. Una curiosità è che la torre è stata costruita per ‘mettersi in mostra’, ma questo è stato fatto con soldi rubati. 

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the third structure of the city’s cathedral. Pisa was built to be used as the bell tower. This building was constructed on the 9^th of August 1173 by Bonanno Pisano, but researchers show that it may have been planned by Gherardo di Gherardo. A fun fact is that the tower was built for showing off, but this was made with stolen money. 

St Peter’s Basilica 

St Peter’s Basilica is an Italian church and is situated in the Vatican City – a small country located within the city of Rome. The construction of the basilica began on the 18^th of April 1506 and was completed on the 18^th of November 1626.  The main architects were Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, and the piazza by Bernini. It is a catholic church. The height up to the dome is 136.6m. 

La Basilica di San Pietro è una chiesa italiana e si trova nella Città del Vaticano, un piccolo paese situato all’interno della città di Roma. La costruzione della basilica iniziò il 18 aprile 1506 e fu completata il 18 novembre 1626. Fu progettata principalmente da Donato Bramante e Michelangelo, mentre la piazza con le colonne dal Bernini. È una chiesa cattolica. L’altezza fino alla cupola è di 136.6 m.
